As an essential unit of beauty, wigs are loved by girls. But the expensive hairdresser fees put girls off, so buying human hair wigs online is the best choice. Many girls are unhappy with the look after trying on a new wig on their own because it doesn't look natural. But what they don't know is that it takes some work to make the wig more realistic before install it.

Bleaching knots and plucking on lace human hair wigs can be an effective way to improve the appearance of your hairline. But it's a technique that takes practice, but anyone can do it. Today, we will tell you in detail what to do before installing a lace wig, so you can show off your wig with confidence.

  1. Bleach the Knots

The bleach knot is apply bleach to your lace closure frontal. This method makes the knots on the lace invisible for a more natural look.

Get these things might need: Bleach, Developer, Aluminum Foil, Mixing bowl, Brush, Blow dryer.

Step 1: Take out the prepared bleach and pour it into a mixing bowl, then mix the developer guide with the bleach. Make sure the mixture is thick so it doesn't seep into the lace when applied.

Step 2: Lay your prepared foil flat and place the lace closure frontal on it. Use clips to secure baby hair or other hair before applying to avoid over-bleached.

Step 3: Then we can use the blending brush to lightly apply the bleach to the lace. After painting, cover the lace button with aluminum foil to wrap the wig.

Step 4: Open the foil every 5 minutes to check if there is a color change and if the knots on the lace have become invisible. The criterion for judging is that the knots on the lace wig turn into honey gold and can be rinsed off. It usually takes about 20-30 minutes to complete.

Step 5: Use Neutralizing Shampoo or Shimmer Lights Shampoo. Wash the lace. This will reduce the damage to the wig caused by bleach. It should be noted that inferior shampoo and bleach will corrode the lace and cause a lot of hair loss. It is recommended to choose high-quality products.

     2.Pluck your Wig

When we're socializing, what people see when they see you is your hairline. The hairline of an untreated wig is thick and straight. After Pre-plucked, the lace wig will appear to have grown from the scalp, and the density of the front of the wig will be similar to natural hair.

Get these things might need: Wig head model or towel, Rat tail comb, Wide-toothed or hot comb, Tweezers, Clip, Eyebrow shaver (for baby hair), Styling mousse (for baby hair).

Step 1: Secure the lace wig to the head mold or towel. Use a wide-toothed or hot comb to lightly comb the wig from the ends to reduce tangles. Use the styling mousse and rat tail brush to smooth the roots back until the hairline is easily visible, then secure the ends with clips.

Step 2: Take a photo of your actual hairline for reference. You can imitate your natural hairline according to the photo, so pluck will be the most natural hairline.

Step 3: Begin pre-plucking. For wigs with a low and neat hairline, it is necessary to pluck the excess hair. Use a rat-tail comb to separate a small section of the wig that resembles your natural hairline, then clip the rest of the hair. Use tweezers to hold the part that needs to be removed, turn and pull firmly. Caution when forecasting hair: use the tweezers gently, grab the hair near the root without tearing the lace.

Step 4: Layer by layer plucking out the natural hairline.Firstly, the first layer. Use a rat-tail comb to separate a section of hair about 2mm wide from the hairline and use a clip to secure the rest of the hair. Use tweezers to remove 3-4 hairs from the middle to the ear. After completing the first layer of hair removal, repeat the above steps 3 to 4 times. Until the hairline is partially thinned to look more like naturally grown hair.

Step 5: Baby hair can help us hide the lace. If you like flawless baby hairs then we can do it. Start by combing the hairline back using a mousse and a hot comb and securing with a butterfly clip. Use a rat-tail comb in your preferred position to separate about 1mm of hair from the hairline, here is the amount of baby hair. Then use scissors to cut the baby hair down to 1 inch.

After all the work, you get a very natural edged look.If you are a beginner in wigs, then pre-plucking and bleaching knots is difficult for you, which requires repeated practice with the right guidance. But don't worry,we will do all the work for you,  you can skip the complicated process entirely and go straight to fitting and rocking your new look.
